I provide my clients with public records land title research, analysis and opinion, of a level of authority that is second to none.

Whether the matter at hand is a particular real property issue – such as a boundary determination, a determination of ownership, of respective rights in land – or a comprehensive title examination, no one can do the job better.

A title company will often provide similar services in connection with the escrow of a real property transaction and the purchase of new title insurance, but when a landowner otherwise encounters legal or practical problems having to do with matters of record title, or confronts a title insurance policy claim, the title company may be of little help. These are the situations in which an independent expert’s work and consultation can be invaluable.

I can provide attorneys dealing with clients’ real property issues with expert advice and testimony in litigation, and with expert collaborative efforts in relation with land use, development, and transactional issues that no ordinary title company can match.

I can prepare legal descriptions from survey data, deeds, easement agreements, and other land title documents for landowners anywhere.

I understand the law and practice of real property transactions and litigation in depth, and from an uncommon perspective, that makes my contributions uniquely valuable.

I can provide surveyors, engineers and planners with extraordinarily responsive and valuable title examination, research and analysis because of my extensive working understanding of the technical aspects of those professions.

I’ve done street and right-of-way research for private railroads and public transportation agencies. I’ve assisted in complex actions to quiet title, eliminating abstract legal obstacles to sale and development. I’ve worked to develop innovative problem-solving approaches to title insurance difficulties. I’ve sorted out challenging multiple ownership situations that less accomplished practitioners could not begin to unravel.

I can work as an independent contractor for title companies to help accomplish their customers’ requirements, or as an agent of a landowner or purchaser in cooperation with a participating title company, to accomplish objectives the title company itself could not, or would not, be able to undertake.
